family: vasquez family
September 26, 2018welcome back, my friends! i am aware that it has been almost a year since i have posted, but there were a lot of changes in my life and i couldn’t find the time to actually sit down and write it all down after every session. but, things are starting to wind down slowly but surely and with that, i have a new family photo session to post! this post actually means so much to me and i could not wait to get these photos done as soon as i got home from the session.
if you know me, you know how much i adore my family. i was so happy when my cousin, adrienne, asked me to take her family’s photos for their christmas card this year, especially since they added a new addition to their little crew. adrienne and i grew up as close as sisters; our moms are sisters, we’re only a little under two years apart in age, we’ve traveled the world, and we attended the same school from first grade all the way through high school. we’ve shared so many memories together and we continue to do so as we’ve grown older. adrienne and her husband, luis, have done the best job raising their children. gabriella -the oldest- is smart, spunky, and full of energy. their son, jacob, is my godson and every time i see him he tells me something he’s done that makes me so proud. the youngest, lilliana, has a fierceness about her already that shows in her face every time i see her. i love this family and i am so happy to have them in my life. i don’t see them as often as i’d like to, but when i do it’s always laughs and good times. to add to the joy of our photo session, we ventured out to our other cousin’s home in northville. we are so grateful to the crampton family for allowing us to use their beautiful property for the backdrop of these family photos. family is all about helping each other and it overjoys me that mine does just that.
have a blessed week, friends.
